Acolytes  

See the Fall 2008 Acolyte Schedule here.  The schedule runs through Jan. 4, 2009, and includes 2nd Crucifer updates.  The Acolyte Roster for 2008-2009 can be viewed on the Members page.  

Acolytes are an integral part of the worshp service at St.Thomas.  Kids in grades 3-12 are invited and encouraged to participate.  

Those in grades 3-6 are trained as torch bearers and only serve at the 10:30 AM Sunday service (10:00 AM during the summer).

Acolytes in grade 7 and older may become crucifers, and will be scheduled for either the 8:00 or 10:30 AM services.  After serving as crucifer for several years, an acolyte is trained to become a server, and serves at both services.

Training is usually scheduled during the firsts few weeks of the school year.  For more information, contact Jeannie Randall.
