Learning about God

We believe that Christian formation is the lifelong journey to deepen our understanding of our faith.  Young children at St. Thomas begin this journey early with Sunday school classes based on the Godly Play curriculum, an interactive biblically based program which encourages hands on participation in learning.  As they grow our children learn from the Episcopal Children's Curriculum, discovering how the Bible relates in their own lives; and our high school youth work on contemporary issues in Christian development.  Adults at St. Thomas choose from a variety of classes as we seek to learn and grow as informed, conversant Christians.  Each year there is a class built around studying the lectionary, a rector's discussion class, and a young adults class that meets in the Coffeehouse next to the Chapel.
