The Young Adults Class

This class for all young adults meets in the new Coffeehouse next to the chapel.  Starting September 21, we are studying a 6 session series entitled, "Praying in the Midst of Life" with Ron DelBene. Join us for coffee and conversation.

The Lectionary Class

Harold and Bob study the BibleThis is an ongoing study considering the lessons as they appointed for each Sunday for use in the worship of the Episcopal Church. We have moved away from the Lectionary in the back of the Book of Common Prayer and are now using the Revised Common Lectionary, which is also used in the Roman Catholic and Lutheran Churches, as well as some others. The class uses the Living the Good News, Adult Scripture Journal series. It is a discussion based class to which everyone is welcome.  It meets in the Conference Room and is led by Thad Mauldin.

Conversations in the Parish Hall and Parlor

This fall the adult forum will present a series of guest lecturers.  We began our conversation on September 7 and will end on November 23.  This last conversation will be lead by Bishop Parsley at our 50th birthday celebration. Join us in the Parish Hall.

Here is what the next few weeks will offer:

Our interim rector Dex Bender will lead an inquirer's class in the parlor at 9:30 AM beginning on October 12 through November 16.  The purpose of this class is to provide a forum for adults to address some of the questions we all have about our church and our faith.  It will also serve as preparation for confirmation and reception into the Episcopal Church.

Other speakers will be announced later!
